Please help me decide if this is a good deal...?

Hi,

I don't know too much about Thinkpad pricing but could buy the following laptop and don't know whether it's a good deal or not.

Note that I also have access to SPP, (but not EPP) so if there is something I could get through SPP that resembles this configuration but is cheaper, I'd want to know so I could go with that instead.

2613EAU with SXGA+, 14.1", 9 Cell, 1GB, XP Prof, 100 GB SATA 5400, 3 year protection onsite repair extended service agreement...$1800 all inclusive.

Thanks in advance for your help or comments.

Sounds about right to me, maybe not a "steal" but a fair price.

I agree it is not a steal but a fair price. Computer prices are going down very fast. The next generation will be cheaper and coming soon. Many people are holding money for the next big release. So this price is definately "fair" only.

Next gen is always coming, but there are no indications what so ever that it will be cheaper.

You can speak through your fingers around here :) Nobody is vocally challenged.

Thanks for the input - I'm leaning towards buying it now.
