password in bios

#1 Post by Cassirer » Fri Jul 14, 2006 1:35 pm

O.k. the lesson is to always read careflly before doing anything

I updated the bios to 1.07 but did not turn off the password in the bios. I can get into the bios with the fingerprint but cannot change or remove password ...

any suggestions how to remove the passwords or change at this point

Thanks in advance
Steve

Revert to the old BIOS, 1.07 stinks...I assume you turned off the options within the BIOS that set the BIOS passwords and such?

You can always try. I stay with 1.06, cause although some people have problems with it, I dont, and 1.07 has Standby errors which require you to disable Powerplay. Its always worth a try.
