Check Costcentral.com, I got a good deal last month. Bought a 2623 D6U for 1400USD and there was a 200USD rebate from Lenovo too, so 1200USD total when I get the check...

Got the TP within three days of my online order, so no complaints there.

What's the deal with your girlfriend?

1400?? the lowest i ever saw it at costcentral was 1440 and i checked it all the time.

that's probably still a good deal. no rebates currently on the T60 and costcentral has the lowest prices on practically all the models

There was actually a lower model the 2623 D4U for about 1300 and some change. The exact price for mine was 1437.88USD, I haven't yet received the 200USD rebate check, hopefully it will come in soon... So the final cost will be 1237.88USD and it includes a three year warranty.

I was checking the board here for a couple months before I made my purchase, it was very useful in deciding which model to get and from where. Costcentral was recommanded here.

Sadly I am in Hawaii. The shipping cost is a little bit high for me.
