UAA High Definition Audio class driver

where can I download this driver? I don't have it backed up from the initial system, and tried downloading a Realtek one that doesn't seem to work.

Audio Features XI for Windows 2000, XP - ThinkPad R60, R60e, T60, T60p, X60, X60s

In the middle of the page above you will see the following:
Installation instructions
* This driver can be installed using the Software Installer, or by following the instructions in the next section. In both cases, please confirm that the driver is correctly installed, by determining the installed driver version as described below.
* UAA High Definition Audio Class Driver (Article ID 888111) provided by Microsoft should be installed before installing this package.

Yes, I've been to that microsoft page and have searched it for a link to download the driver. Unfortunately, it does not offer one. Any other suggestions? or if it is small enough to send through email and someone would be kind enough to do so...

Sorry that didn't work for you. A search on UAA High Definition Audio class driver using the Search button at the top of the forum page, with the radio button selected "Search for all terms", brought up (4) threads on this issue. See one of these threads below.

Call IBM and they will email you the driver.
