Hello, I have the 2007-63U with 100 gb harddrive 5400 rpm. It saids 88gb on my c-drive and used 100mb for secure drive. I know that the other 10 gb should be used for the Hidden Partition? But the problem here is that i have 88gb and have used 64gb with 24 gb free, the contents inside C: is only 22.4 gb. Where is the other 40gb that could be in use or hidden? i have checked virtually everywhere and even most hidden and temporary files. Where do you think i have missed and could take up so much space? thx

Maybe the computer made a backup of the hard drive. Those backups take up a lot of space.

The rescue and recovery app lets you view current backups stored on the hard drive. You can also delete them and make new backups from that program.
