I have several 80GB Travelstar hard drives that I would like to use in my T60p but can't because they don't have the kevlar tab needed to pull it out. Has anyone come up with a solution for this?

Use an 2nd HDD adapter for ultraslim bay?

Can't. The T60p HD bay uses rubber shock mounts and and is recessed which is why its HD has a kevlar tab for pulling it out of the bay.

Use a loop of thin, but strong, braided nylon "rope" (no more than 1mm in diameter) to loop from the back center of the drive -- between the SATA connector and the power connector -- to front of drive. The rubber rails provide ample clearance on top and bottom of drive for the loop. When you pull on the loop, the drive will be pulled from the back, centered, and will slide right out.

Hold tension on the loop as you slide the drive in, so that the string does not get caught inside one of the connectors when the drive attaches to the connectors inside the drive bay.

He is referring to the HDD adapter for the UltraBay. The same bay that your CD drive goes into. In the primary hard drive bay, the tab is not connected to the HDD itself. It is connected to a tray that the HDD is screwed onto.
