V5200 benchmarks: Omega vs Desktop drivers and O/C results.
V5200 benchmarks: Omega vs Desktop drivers and O/C results.
Ok so I was board at work today and ran a whole lot of 3DMark tests on different drivers and different O/C's with my v5200, I didn't run benchies on the normal drivers I just pulled them from another thread. Here are the results:
*System Specs in sig*
Normal Drivers:
3DMark03: 5064
3DMark05: 3877 <--- I think this one mite be incorrect seems to high
3DMark06: 1336
Desktop Drivers: (On balanced mode)
3DMark03: 5385
3DMark05: 3548
3DMark06: 1590
Desktop Drivers: (Performance mode)
3DMark03: 6138
3DMark05: 3560
3DMark06: 1598
Desktop Drivers: (Quality mode)
3DMark03: 3003
3DMark05: 2775
3DMark06: 1148
Omega Drivers: (Normal mode, which is high quality settings)
3DMark03: 6030
3DMark05: 3541
3DMark06: 1594
OVERCLOCKING RESLUTS: (all on omega drivers)
442/351
3DMark03: 6680
3DMark05: 3864
3DMark06: 1730
449/392 <--- (This is my new gaming profile)
3DMark03:7034
3DMark05:4073
3DMark06:1826
I did an O/C at 470/420 and got a blistering 3DMark03 score of 7461 but the colors started getting all screwed up when I ran 05 so I didn’t take it the rest of the way. Also ran at 448/400 and was getting the color distortion on 05 but ran a 7124 in 03. I used powerstrip for all of my O/C'ing and only had one lock up when doing the 470/420 setting. Maybe it is more stable with Omega?

FYI.
On latest Omega Driver 3.8.273 (08/15/06)
I OC at 455/400 and got a 3DMark05 score of 4103.
Omega driver seems more appropriate for O/C with ATItool.
