Hello Everybody,

i have a problem with my 3 weeks old T60p (2007-93G).
I played Need For Speed Most Wanted and my TP freezed up 2 times...
I thought it could be a software problem (maybe it is this), but when i test my TP with the Video Card Stress Test of the PC-Doctor Tool, after 25-30 Minutes a blue screen appears with this text:

NMI: Paritiy Check/Memory Parity Error

I have the Bios 1.07 and the latest Lenovo driver...

What could be the problem? I used the search engine of this forum and found some topics in this issue, but no one could help me out!

Thank you very much for your replies!

check your add in memory.. if you have any additional memory over that which came with the thinkpad..

remove it..

try again..

apparently, from my personal experience, the T60(p) has issues with some memory parts..
i.e. some work just fine with no lockups and some give the BSOD..

I have only the preinstalled 1Gb Ram from the factory...

I´m now discussing this issue with the ibm support - with the new bios i wait longer, until the machine freezes while pc-doctor runs...

They will change my systemboard...

Is it possible to someone to test his system like i did?

PP off, CPU Max, Pc-Doctor Video Stress-Test(!) 5 times...
Which temperature occur at this preset? With tpcontrol there ist 106°C, very hot - has somebody this results too? Did your system lock up?

Thanks a lot!!!

PS: I think everybody is sleeping now :-) i think it´s very late in USA, I´m in Germany and the sun ist shining :-)
