Howdy folks, new T60 owner. Actually, I had a T42 but I got it lemon lawed and the replacement was a T60 (2007-4AU).

Anyways, whenever I reboot my default start page in Firefox gets jacked back to http://www.msn.com and this kind of crap freakin drives me up the wall. "No, you are not allowed to set your default start page. WE are going to set it for you, and YOU are going to like it, and if you don't tough.

Specifically the page it loads is:

http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dl ... ar=msnhome

I fired up regedit and found maybe a dozen or so hits for that value that will probably "fix" it. But before I go trashing stuff in regedit I was just wondering if anybody knows specifically which reg key I need to edit to stop this start page hacking. Geez, it even hacks the firefox start page for crying out loud, LOL.

thanks,
Steve

Access Connections can do that; there is a setting to set your homepage to something (that is the default) for each network profile you create. :)

Yeah I saw a regkey from access connections but didn't know where it was in there, but I think I found it.

- Double click access connections tray icon.
- Modify WLAN settings
- Additional Settings
- Customize Internet Explorer or Firefox Browser
- [Check Box] Override home page: http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dl ... ar=msnhome

That oughta fix it. Thanks!
