Hey All,
Been reading forum for a while now, and have just recieved new T60,
1.83CD, 1GB, 14" GMA 950, Australian Model, Unfortunately the 14" model with ati is around $4000 aus so a little out of my budget but overall am extremely pleased with my purchase, so far no negatives whatsoever, battery life seems to be around the 4 hour mark for general usage. Connectivity excellent, keyboard fantastic, screen 'adequate'. Speed is excellent, I have loaded up far cry as a test and it plays well (well enough for me not a massive gamer). Unfortunately the only other game I ever play mx vs atv won;t run with the GMA950..
THE Type is 1951-4BM
Build quality is very solid, I can see this copping a beating and holding up really well.
Future Upgrades I will look at are 100GB H/D to replace 60GB and 2 * 1GB sticks of ram.
Thanks for the Great Forum.
Cheers
Chris.
BTW: First IBM, previously a VAIO addict, I can comfortably say I will never own another SONY.
