TrackPad/Mouse Freezes

Hello Everybody,
This is my first post as I am new to this forum and am happy to be a member here.
I have bought my first IBM T60 notebook having come from Toshiba, Fujitsu, Apple, Dell and now the IBM. I have been having some trouble trying to get some programs working like Nikon Capture and also had a tough time configuring Bluetooth until I found the FN+F5 combination !
My main problem and where I need help/advice from the forum is that whenever I restart the computer the Trackpadmouse freezes and nothing will unfreeze it until I reboot. In this condition however if I put on my bluetooth mouse , it works. Can someone please help me and thanks in advance.
