Hi everyone,
I took delivery of a 2623-D8U last week and I must say I am positively surprised at the build quality - every bit as good as my precious Thinkpads (600E, T20 and T30), but maybe I have got the opposite of a lemon - not a pixel out of shape, nice finish and CPU running a cool 43C on idle in a 26C room. (My T30 runs at 44C next to it.)
Now, to my question - for some reason I can't get an accurate temp reading (it shows up as 0C) for my HDD (100GB 7200rpm) in Notebook Hardware Control 1.10 Beta 3. This would not normally concern me, but the one warmer part of the computer seems to be the Harddrive, so it would feel reassuring to have a figure to watch.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Ulf
T60 2623-D8U, NHC and HDD temperature
I've been wondering the same in this thread: NHC 2.0 has no problem giving me lots of info about the Toshiba drive in my X31, but it gave me nothing about the Hitachi and Seagate in my X60s. Maybe something to do with the fact drives in the T60/X60 are SATA?
