Socketed or soldered?

Hi, I was just wondering--are the CPUs in the Thinkpad T60 and T60P socketed or soldered onto the logic board? Thanks

Socketed, or so I hear. The X series are soldered, but the T are socketed.

This makes the T60 awesome. If Merom comes out I would difinitely upgrade mine if its wont be sold or stolen
