i have a t60p with firgl v 5200
my firegl has 512mb of ram ..

i have 1 gb totally

in windows i have ~550 ram available(task manager)


where i can disable the sharing from firegl with my system ram

There is a location in the registry that looks like it might do this, but the concensus here is that it is a BIOS issue, and hence, you probably cant change it.

I dont know if there is anything you can do until Lenovo decides to release a BIOS with a Hypermemory switch. The 5200 card has 256MB built in, so it probably doesnt use alot of your 1GB of system resources all the time. You can always get a RAM upgrade, which will make it less of an issue.

Might I ask how you like the screen resolution. I've been thinking of getting a T60p; however, I'm somewhat concerned with the UXGA resoluiton. Do you change the fonts size to make it more comfortable or use the native 96dpi font size?
