Bluetooth - how do I switch it on? (new T60)
Hi
I cant get my Bluetooth working on my new T60/Windows XP
& all the latest patches.
The BlueTooth icon is there on my task bar - bottom right - the bit that shows everything that is running....
But I cant get it to pick up either mhy HP 460 printer, nor my mobile phone, nor my mobile phone's headset!
If I click on the icon, all I get is
"Bluetooth device not found".
Is there some physical switch I need to switch (like there is for the Wireless stuff...?
With thanks

Just d/l the latest BT software from the link below and install it. You'll need to uninstall the old BT software first.

Re: Hang on I may have fixed it.
Go to Lenovo.com, Support and Downloads, navigate to the page for your system, click Downloads and Drivers, and find a page for the BlueTooth drivers. Follow the instructions on the page to download and install the new drivers. Alternatively, you can get drivers off of Windows Update for the bluetooth module.shiphen wrote:Thanks Ron - I finally found out jsut as our emails crossed.

How to get my T60 to see my bluetooth (Motorola 500) headset
Okay I downloaded "Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software for WindowsXP/2000" and successfully installed it.
I then pressed Fn+F5 and turned it on.
I then tried to run "My Bluetooth Places" and it all seems to work.
I can talk to my HP Deskjet 460 printer and also to my phone (Sony Ericsson P910i).
But I still cant get my headset (Motorola H500) to be found at all.
Someon said I need a new stack or something. But I dont know how to do that!
Any suggestions?

Re: How to get my T60 to see my bluetooth (Motorola 500) hea
Well, there is also a firmware update for the BT card, but I dont know if that will help. Is this a phone headset? They dont always work well with desktops.shiphen wrote:Okay I downloaded "Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software for WindowsXP/2000" and successfully installed it.
