Rescu & Recovery Partition identical among T60 Series?

Hi,

I have a T60 and a T60p right in front of me. The hidden recovery partition of the T60p has been deleted. Now I wonder if I could create Recovery CD/DVDs from the T60 and just apply them an the T60p. That would be great as I wouldn't have to call Lenovo for the specific Recovery CD set!

T60 and T60p use the same recovery CDs.

Thanks! But what about the Windows licence? I suppose I will have to manually alter the licence according to the sticker beneath my T60p rigt?

well, not really. Most likely, they are installed using the same volume licencing key (like mine and my brother's T60s), and so you should still be able to use recovery set from 1 laptop on the other.
