Thinkvantage access connections cannot find wireless

For somereason my Thinkvantage cannot power on the wireless radio, and when you go to search for wireless networks it always comes back with none even when there are some that the windows controller can pick up. (when trying I do disable the windows controller.)

I had this problem recently. I found opening up Software Installer and firstly uninstalling Thinkvantage Access Connections, and then "Repairing" the Intel Wireless drivers....then restart, and reinstall Access Connections...did the trick.
