This topic started as part of another thread, so I thought I would ask in a separate topic. What kinds of sleeve do people use? I have a bag, just want a good protective sleeve. How does this one look to folks? http://tinyurl.com/zolem

Do you think it would lead to overheating to leave it in the bag while working?

TIA -- Barbara

Kind of looks like it might get hot depending on what you were doing. Also not much overall protection. But it's kind of hard to tell with just the one picture turned so you can't really see the padding or anything. :?

I got a sleeve for my z60t from http://www.sfbags.com/index.htm and couldn't be happier. They'll make sure it fits whatever laptop you have perfectly, including making one custom for you if need be. Quality is absolutely top notch. Lots of options too!

I am not sure that the the notebook would get enough air circulation while it was sitting in the bag. I like the idea of never having to remove the notebook from its protective case, but I just don't think that it is practical.

My wife just purchased a sleeve from Tom Bihn for her work T43. The "Soft Cell" is well made and has no zippers or tabs to fuss with. I am hoping to purchase one for my T60 when it comes in.

Can someone compare/contrast the waterfield/sfbags sleeves with the tom bihn sleeves?

Thanks!

I don't even own a Thinkpad (yet) but I had to vouch for SF Bags' quality and customer service.

Top notch stuff. Seriously.
