The hidden partition is not hidden anymore !

I installed SuSE on my second harddrive. Then the Thinkvantage button won't work. Finally, I got it work again (Will post a new topic later !).

Now, after I log in Windows XP. The Service Partition always showed as a Hard Drive.

Is there anyone who can tell me the identifier of the service partition should be ? I guess that you need Partition Magic to read that.

Isn't there a BIOS setting that determines whether that partition is visible or not?

On all my thinkpads the HPA shows up in disk management, on the t60 it shows it as a 5.10G fat32 IBM_SERVICE.
