Rescue & Recovery disks are not working on my T60?

Rescue & Recovery disks are not working on my T60? I used those disks on my friend\'s thinkpad and it works. The disks does not work on mine...? How come??? Is my computer ultrabay disk drive damaged or the len had gone bad. I know the disks should be fine because other people\'s computer can read my recovery disks but mine cannot read the disks...

Does your drive read other discs? Try cleaning them off a little and try again. If it still doesnt work, it might be your drive.

i never log in for quite a few days because of my school exam and now it is vacation...

ok, i swapped drive with another friend\'s T60 and it does not work at all... So problem might be my computer itself. I went back to Lenovo service centre and they test their recovery disks on my T60 and things work fine... So again... computer or disk fault...?
