Hi,
Am a Toshiba User who has recently shifted to Thinkpad (200763A). Had used a T40 coupla years back and hence the knowledge is a but rusty on Thinkpad Apps (Access Connections etc.).
The problem I am facing is a bit peculiar. Am using custom dialer softwares for Internet (Modem & Wireless Data Card). When I use the phone line, internet connects, but IE or any other application is not able to connect to the internet. At the same time, both the dialer and access connections show the line as connected.
When I try the wireless data card, it gets connected to internet for 10 sec, and then is disconnected automatically. Initially I thought that maybe the firewall was causing issues, I turned off symantec firewall & windows firewall completely, but result is still the same. This thing has me completely stumped and cannot find any explanation/reason for same.
Has anyone faced similar issues on a T60. Would sure love to hear how it was resolved.
Regards
Rajat
