Power manager

I have problem with my Power manager. It doesn't seem to work the way it should. The first thing is that I can't change power schemes in power manager, I have to go via windows inbuilt power options. When I change scheme in windows power options the scheme will also be changed in the power manager.

The second and biggest problem is that none of the changes i make in power manager seems to have any effect on the computer. For instance if I want the brightness of the screen go down to 3 after some time of idleness. So i'm guessing that the cpu speed options is not working either.

Does anyone have the same problem? I have updated power manager drivers and the power manager software. I have a T60 2007 model.

I am having the same problem since I updated bios firmware (79ET65WW) & power manager last week. Have tried rolling back to previous versions, but it had no effect.

You should probably try Windows System Restore. Go to Start > Help and Support > Pick a task > Undo changes to your computer with System Restore. Choose a restore point that was before the time you began having the problem. System Restore will not affect any BIOS updates.
