does anyone have some info/rumors on the next T6x release? Will it have be available within 2006?

I have only read about a release of a wide screen T series and the Core 2 Duo procesor. Both are supposed to be out in October I hope as that is what I'm waiting for.

thanks for your info. Maybe I am offtopic but, do you know if will be a new T4x release? That is, will the T6x line replace the T4x line or they are two independent lines?

The T6x line replaces the T4x line.
You can still buy a T43p from Lenovo Outlet, but once these are gone, that's it....

You can probably still find other brand new T4x series notebooks from ThinkPad resellers.

I commented on this over in the X60 conference, but I'll say the same thing here (and, yes, I am flaunting the rules here and multi-posting - like your mother always told you, do as I say do, not as I do). Lenovo has a new blog on design at http://www.lenovoblogs.com/design/ - try leaving a (serious) comment there about what you'd like to see in the future.

Someone had posted a link to it, and we stickied it at http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=30387 That thread has pretty much degenerated into a TrackPoint cap poll, but reading the blog itself and other blogs linked to it is some interesting reading.
