Hi,

I know its a bit of a newbie question, but have heard quite a few contradictory replies on this and hence brining this up again.

What are the key difference between T60 and T60p ? If the processor is T2500 would it be t60p.

The machine I have is 2007-63A. T2500 Core Duo. 2 Gb Ram. 100 GB SATA HDD. 14.1" SXGA. 128 MB ATI Radeon X1400

Regards,

I just went through this too... Lenovo is really weird. They offer various configurations and those configurations keep changing.

The IPS screen is only available on the 15" screen. However, it is available on both the T60 and T60p. Also, keep in mind there are two different resolutions for the IPS screen. They have a 1400 pixel wide screen and a 1600 pixel wide screen. Usually, you will see the 1400 pixel wide 15" IPS Flexview on the T60 and the other 1600 pixel wide 15" IPS Flexview on the T60p.

You can't really judge by chip as all the chips are found on both models.

The first answer regarding the graphics card is the sure fire way to tell as the V5200 is definitely not offered on the T60.

EDIT: Just for what it's worth... right now you can configure a T60 with a Flexview screen but NOT a T60p on the Lenovo site. Of course you could buy from a third party or wait a few days and see what Lenovo offers then.
