BIOS v1.11 - Can't boot while docked

After installing BIOS v1.11 (tried twice), I can't boot my T60p while docked. It boots fine while undocked.

I had to go back to BIOS v1.09 in order to keep using my Advanced Dock. Has anyone else seen this problem?

A shot in the dark: have you tried setting the BIOS to its default settings, i.e. press F9 (IIRC, the correct key is displayed within the BIOS-setup at the bottom, am on my desktop right now) then F10 to save the config and reboot (while undocked)?

No, I haven't called Lenovo. I'm just hoping that they'll figure it out and fix it for the next release. I'm stuck at 1.09 for now.

I called Lenovo. Because not only won't boot from the dock, when I dock my t60 it shut off the power.

I noticed that(won't boot from the dock) only happened when I have usb cables(1 for USB printer, 1 for external harddrive) connected.

I had been talked to 3 reps. They told me that I need replace the motherboard on my laptop. I'm glad that I have next business day on-site service.

The bad news is they don't have the parts now. I hope they will call me soon.

I tried on both dock I have (different FRU).

Hey all this is odd. On lenovo's site I see BIOS version 1.10 listed on today's date 9/27/2006 - Also it's for version 1.10?? When I ran it, I saw it say BIOS 1.04. I did not proceed with the update.

Ye, that's odd. The version number is going backward.
V1.10 seems exactly the same as v1.11 posted previously.
Something is wrong with their version control.

I have a smililar problem. I just installed BIOS version 1.10 from Software Installer. After that my Windows wouldn't boot on AC. I figured out I have to change the power setting from "Balanced" to "Maximum Performance" on AC.
I switched back to BIOS v1.09 but still the problem presists.

My Thinkpad worked fine through all BIOS versions with this setting on "Balanced". Seems they screwed something up with their new BIOS?
