Voltage level for fan

Hi All:
I am using TPfan control right now, but was wondering if we could change the voltage level on the bios ourselves instead of using the TPfan control smart mode, because I notice, after upgrading to 1.09a once the fan rpm>3000 it will not go down below that eventhough the highest temperature is 60c.
any comments or suggestions are welcome , thank you

Doubt that. The Embedded Controller is controlling the voltage of the Fan, the piece of software runs just fine.
BTW, you get 60C when full load, or just doing normal stuff. My T42p is constantly 51-53C browsing web, playing music, etc. Not playing as it reaches about 64-67C max, this with Arctic Silver 5

I wouldn't compare T42 temps to T60 temps,.
My T60p idles at 63C and loads at 75-76C and the fan is constantly at high speeds.
My T42p I didn't bother to check because it just doesn't get that warm and the fan was barely noticeable.

my tempterature reading is at minimum load, surfing the web, I like using TP fan control, but it is better if I can mod the values in the bios it self
thanks
