thinkvantage 3 to 3.1

When I got my thinkpad t60 in early september it has rescue and recovery 3.01.0037. If I update it to version 3.1 then will my old rescue and recovery work with the new version? Or do I have to remake all those recovery cd's?
Currently on Thinkpad T60 with Dinovo Bluetooth set.
