I already have the SATA Hard Drive Bay P/N: 40Y8725, nonetheless I have many ATA Hard Drives, and when I install the SATA HD adapter into the Bay it is recognized by the system as an ATA disk, that meas internally it is beeing converted from SATA to ATA ?, so it is possible to use ATA HD in the Bay ?, thanks

Yes -- use ThinkPad 2nd Hard Drive Adapter for Ultrabay Slim from the T4x series:

No; it is the T4x style bezel, i.e., the bottom edge is cut at an angle.
