No 15" T60p?

I just clicked all over the Lenovo website and can't find a way to build a 15" T60p anywhere. On the build it page you're only given the option of a 14.1" display.
Could this mean a T61p or whatever they're going to call it is close? I hope they offer a 15" 4/3 display like they always have instead of just going widescreen like Dell has.
It's time for me to upgrade, just waiting for the Core 2 Duo. I'd love to hold out for Vista but want to order by the end of the year for tax purposes.

Have you looked first at the tabook.pdf that is linked from this site's FAQs? That gives you a near all-inclusive list of all the models of T60ps (as well as many other Thinkpad Series model lines) that are available for purchase via model number.
Yes, there are 15" T60ps, but I am not familiar as to how their build options stack up against the options available for building a 14.1" T60p.

Ah yes, but click on the 15" T60p, and you get...
An error has occurred and the model 20079EU you selected is unavailable. Please make another selection.

the 15" UXGA screen is backordered for about 6-8 weeks so lenovo has pulled all of the respective models from their site to prevent anyone placing web orders. of course, you can just call lenovo direct and backorder one.

or you can just order from a 3rd party vendor like I did. I was looking for the 15" t60p as well and they were all out.

Thanks for the info. One of my best friends works for IBM and I was looking through the friends and family link and couldn't find them so I moved the regular site and couldn't find them. I knew they existed, I had carted one up about once a week for the last 3 months and then talked myself into waiting.
The T42p I have now has been great, best laptop I've ever owned. I've kept it longer than normal, usually I upgrade every year (at least I was with Dells) but next month will be two years on this one without issue and it still seems quick. I usually sell my old one on eBay to help pay for the new one but this puppy is staying in the family like an old first car!
