Uncaught Exception

While doing a complete factory restore from the restore CDs sent to me by Lenovo, I had two uncaught exceptions when the system began to go through the different Lenovo setup processes within Windows.

Everything works fine, just wondering if I should be concerned.

What uncaught exceptions? I have noticed that the batch file part of the recovery process on any number of IBM machines produces errors (that apparently, this many year along are of no consequence). But once the recovery process is in Windows, I haven't seen any errors that I can recall. ... JD Hurst

Batch File

They happen in the Windows environment, but it is inside the "dosbox" (for lack of a better term). At the "C" prompt. Would this be a hardware issue, or software?

Thanks

There are batchfile errors and the odd pkzip error that seems to scroll by when doing a recovery. If the recovery is complete, the machine runs well, and does not require authentication, then you are probably OK. ... JD Hurst

I would figure out what the two errors were, but I would have to reinstall everything, and I just did that this weekend.

If I do another install again, I will write down the names of the two exceptions.

Thanks,

from what i know lenovo prob di da master image for the lines. so consider a fully loaded thinkpad and its drivers. if you don't have bluetooth, it will have the driver in master image but but the physical hardware, repeat for other hardware
