Centrino log on boot splash screen

#1 Post by Scratch » Mon Sep 25, 2006 11:31 am

Not that it's important, but I am curious as to why my boot splash screen no longer shows the Centrino logo.

I haven't made any hardware changes since I got the system several months ago. I believe that the spalsh used to show Centrino...now it just reads Intel in grey text.

Any ideas?
T'Pad 600e, 770x, A20p, A21p, A30p, A31p (2653-H3U), T43p (2668-Q2U) & T60p (2623-DDU)...it's an addiction.

Check the Startup items in the BIOS menu. Normally the BIOS should be set to Quick start.

If the above doesn't work, you could try flashing the BIOS.

You might want to look at the following 2 threads for more info. As to why you lost your logo, I cannot say.
