TV signal output through VGA?

I'm saddened by the loss of the S-video output on my T60p, since unlike my old T40 I can no longer watch videos and play games on my TV through my ThinkPad. However, I've been looking into it and I've seen a few adapters that convert VGA to RCA.

The literature for the devices though, recommends that I check to see that my graphics driver supports TV output through VGA. I couldn't really figure out whether Presentation Director is able to do this. Has anybody used one of those adapters successfully before?

Would it work with Presentation Director and my T60p?

Search the forum on this topic.

In short, the VGA adapter port on the T60 does not seem carry a signal that those cheap Composite or S-Video adapter cables can "split out" onto a composite or S-Video connector. You would need a true VGA to composite or S-Video converter box, such as those made by Averkey.
