Screen problems - help!

The screen on my T60 keeps turning off, which is fine as per the power settings. Although sometimes it does not turn off for hours, and I have no idea why that is. But my real concern is that when it is off many times pressing any button will no resume the screen function. I have to put the machine in standby and come out of it to resume the screen function. Any idea how to control all these aspects of the screen function on the T60?

I had the same problem, and a Microsoft Hotfix took care of it for me.
