Bios v1.10 newer than V1.11 - Isn't it confusing?

#1 Post by Volker1965 » Thu Oct 05, 2006 4:28 am

Hi,

I did an upgrade from BIOS 1.09A to 1.11 on the first day 1.11 was available. Now there isn't any 1.11 to download but a v1.10.

Why do they distribute v1.10 after 1.11? I don't think this is very sensible?

Does anybody know something about that mystery?

thx
Volker

Probably a bug in 1.11, so they pulled it. Whether the bug would affect you or not, probably depends on the particular hardware in your T60, and how you use it. I wouldn't worry about it unless you are having problems. Just keep your eye out for the next revision. If you are having problems, you could downgrade to 1.10.

It actually fixes the same thing as 1.11

Yes it's very odd indeed :)
