Front side bus speed

I ran CPUZ to check out how my ThinkPad T60 was running, and in the memory section I noticed that the Frequency readout was only 332.4 MHz, and the FSB:DRAM was 1:2.

That seems slow, since the RAM is rated for 667 MHz, right? I would have expected the FSB:RAM to be set to 1:1.

I couldn't find a setting for this in the BIOS. Does anyone know how to increase the FSB speed?

Also, has anyone had experiences running with dual channels? Is there any performance benefit?

You system is set correctly, the reason why you see 1:2 instad of 1:1 is because you have DDR ram (dual data rate), and 667MHz is the effective clock rate, but the chip itself actually only operates at half the frequency effective clock rate, hence the FSB only needs to be 667/2~333MHz.
