Hello,
I have an really annoying problem. The time of my T60 doenst run neither in Windowos XP nor in the bios, when the T60 is turned off. Thus I have to adjust the time every time I start my system ;( .Does anyone have a solution? Could a be a hardware problem of the mainboard?

Thank you very much

The backup battery is supposed to keep the system clock running. Try replacing the Backup Battery (FRU 02K6572). It is Item #13 in the following list. The purchase link is at the bottom of the page. If replacing the Backup Battery doesn't fix it, then I suspect your motherboard may be defective.

This is the kind of problem where you definitely want to call Lenovo tech support. If the backup battery is bad, with older T's the machine would not even start without first showing a special error code. I assume that is still the case with the T60.
