I've read a few topics concerning wireless problems, but i didn't quite find exactly what i'm looking for.

Without any warnin or anything , suddenly my wireless connection goes down.
(LED indicator of wireless even stops)
And my default windows wireless program doesn't react anymore..at all. :(

I've had this problem for a while, and i read the forum and tried to solve it with some suggested sollutions already:
I uninstalled all wireless applications (including thinkvantage acces connections) and teh drivers, rebooted and downloaded the drivers again and reinstalled everything.

I've also tried simply uninstalling thinkvantage acces connections, and thus only using the windows wirelles program.
But I still have the same problem. :?: :(

Also if i press fn and f5 and ctry to turn on my wireless again (after it suddenly shut down) it doesn't do anything.

Just for the record, everything works just fine before the moment my wirelles decides to shut down again.

So, does anybody have a suggestion plz?

Hi.
What Windows you use? Do you have other connections in the same time (Ethernet)?
Do you have same problems in others places, or only with yours AP. Try to use for testing connection with less security (none, or only WEP)

I use windows XP pro SP2.
And no i don't have any other connections (no bleutooth/ IR)
But sometimes i do have LAN through cable though...

And i have the problem in other places to.
I have it at home and in school.

And i'll try cutting the security down...are there any security risks involved by doing this?

I had the same problem (also the infamous intel card). I tried pretty much anything and nothing solved the problem. The last resort was to reinstall windows. So far wireless has been working (although there are some access points that the card does not want to connect to.

I experience a similar problem, but only with some pictures in certain sites. I have been unable to figure out the problem. It seems that when I visit some sites that have some sort of pictures (the type of which I have yet to figure out), the connection goes down, and it takes several minutes to recover. I originally posted my problem here
