I have bought a new T60 to replac my old T43. I want to know can I replace the CD-RW installed on the T60 with the DVD-RW I have on the T43?
Thank you.

Provided they use the same bay, simply eject the devices.
On the T60, press FN + F9, and eject the drive, then pull it out in accordance with the manual, likewise with the T43, provided it has the same keyboard shortcut.

Yes you can, both TPs use the UltraBay Slim optical drive format.
However, the T43 uses drives with a curved bezel, whereas the T60 uses drives with a flat bezel.
It won't affect the way the drives work, but you might find it a bit weird, in terms of aesthetics

"No" for 2nd Battery ... however, "Yes" for 2nd Hard Drive Adapter from T4x series.

Does anybode know if it is also possible to use Ultrabay-slim Harddisk-Frame/-Adaptors for ATA/IDE on the T60?
The accessories page for the T60 on the Lenovo website shows only the SATA-Harddisk-Frame/-Adaptor and so I don't know if the ATA/IDE will also work?
As the T60 is supporting SATA there might be problems but the DVD-drive is accessed by IDE (??), so I see no reason why the ATA/IDE-Frame should not work instead of the missing entry on the accessories page in the web.
