update for them never show up in system update or software installer. is it just late or i will have to download and install them myself?

I believe for now, you need to download load them to your drivers folder, click on the file name to extract the files. Then if you run "Software Installer" if will find them and install them. Also you may want to check for update (generally under the help menu within the program)

Not sure if you reimaged the hard drive using the factory image, but if you do, make sure the DVD drive is in the machine, and not an ultrabay battery. If you dont have the DVD player in the ultrabay slot when restoring a factory image, the DVD software wont be installed and therefore you wont find updates for it.
