hi guys it's my first time using ibm. when i used asus laptop i did battery calibration for new battery, but i can't find the battery calibration option on my new T60. i searched the forum but didn't find any related topics. i just want to know if it's not required for ibm batteries?

also is there anyway i can change the screen resolution higher than 1024x768 (there is only 800x600 and 1024x768) ? cause i like high screen resoltuion better but if it can't be done its fine, just want to know :)

thanks

look in thinkvantage power manager, battery information, battery maintenance. :)

You have an XGA so 1024 X 768 is all you have.

If you can't set it higher then you probably have an XGA Lcd in your laptop.

You can always use some software tricks such as rendering at a higher resolution then downscaling for the display but they generally result in what looks like.. well.. crap.
