uxga LCD on a non-uxga T60. Possible?

Hi'

I have a T60 that was not originally fitted with an uxga LCD. Since my LCD is broken and I'm about to replace it anyway I would like to upgrade it to uxga.

Is that possible?
Will any 15" T60 be able to use an uxga LCD or does it have to be uxga from factory?

Hope somebody can help :)
