How to restore system?

#1 Post by edspag2000 » Thu Nov 16, 2006 1:08 am

Hey,

How do I go about restoring my T60 if I haven't created any backups or is it not possible. Basically I want to restore drivers and such back to factory settings :?

If you haven't created backups, and you don't have the R&R disks, then it's not possible.

You can create your own R & R disks and revert back to factory setting or you can call Lenovo to buy your R & R disks from them if you cannot create your R & R disks on your own.

You can also post a LF/WTB on the Marketplace here and see if somebody has the RnR disk set that is within close spec range of your model and send them to you. :)

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

Have you tried to hit ThinkVantage (or F11) button while ThinkPad logo is displayed during the booti-up?

Hit the Thinkvantage button under boot, and then select the option "revert back to factory setting" under restore.

Did the same last night.
