New intel wireless driver released 11/17/06

There is a new intel wireless driver for T60's, T41's, T42, and T43 models that had the intel wireless subsystem that can do 802.11bg or abg. (not for systems with "b" only cards)

Driver is so new, the summary of changes for it has not been updated yet.

Finally threw the 2200bg out of the window last week and installed an atheros. The atheros generates more heat but at least it doesn't drop connection when the cisco access point is right inside the conference room ...

Hope this one does the trick for those of us still havin issues and should have went ahead and switched to atheros but are either to busy buyin up other stuff we (I) don't need or are too busy.
