screen settings (ATI catalyst control center)

Hi all,

to make my screen colors look OK (close to what I have on my desktop screen, a 20" viewsonic tft) I am using the following settings in ATI catalyst control center:
gamma 0.50
brightness: 0
contrast: 100

I was surprised to have to turn down the gamma as low as it can go. At a setting of 1.0 my colors look bleak and washed out.
