#1 Post by besonen » Tue Nov 28, 2006 12:15 am

where's the best deal on a t60 with a 1400x1050 resolution display? none of the other specs matter that much to me.

thanks in advance,

newbie1983, at that link i'm seeing:

- a 1024x768 core solo at $1,449.00
- a 1024x768 core duo at $1,199.00
(why not get this one, besides the fact that it's not 1400x1050?)
- two 1400x1050 core duos at $1,699.00 and $3,049.00

are you seeing something different?

It's now $1,311!!! I hope you bought it last night, when it was still $1,224.

1224 was a great price... only 65 more than employee price.

You can one for $1009 direct from Lenovo.

Use this link:

http://www.pc.ibm.com/us/notebooks/thin ... index.html

Then, click Customize and buy to switch to SXGA+. Comes with Core Duo and X1300 graphics, and 1GB of RAM (be sure to select free RAM upgrade). If I were you, I'd upgrade to the 60GB hard drive for an extra $20 and CD-RW/DVD for $10.

This is a FANTASTIC deal. You should jump on it. I wish I needed on right now, or I'd do it to.

edited to fix the link

$65 only? That's not a big enough incentive for becoming an employee!

True... $65 is not much but with the emp sales, the unit comes with 3 years of warranty.
