what's the difference between the t60 and the t60p?
after glancing over the specs the only difference appears to be the video chip (and the fact that the t60 seems to come in more flavors).

the only difference I see is the GPU, you can only get the FireGL on the T60p, but all other options are available to both.

The highest resolution 15" displays (1600x1200) typically are found only on the 'p' models. But those displays are soon going away.

What's the difference in battery time on a T60 x1400 and a T60P ?
Also is there a size difference or a weight difference (talking 14" ONLY)

There is no physical size difference between the T60 and T60p (except as noted below).
The T60p typically uses more power (more powerful graphics, faster hard drive, possibly an IPS screen, etc) so they get lower battery time - I can't say exactly how much. But they also come with 9-cell batteries to offset that. The 9-cell battery protrudes about 1/2" from the back of the unit, making it physically larger in that sense.
I use a 6-cell with my T60p, and carry a 9-cell as a backup, because I don't like the battery sticking out the back. I also use an UltraBay battery when I'm travelling.
