Display Mfr/Parts Question

Is Lenovo using the same suppliers for the 14.1" SXGA+ panels on the T60 as they did for the T43?
I'm trying to reconcile the comments on here that the T60 14.1" SXGA+ panels are crappy with my experience--I've got a T43 14.1" SXGA+ and am happy with the display (viewing angles are suitable, but not fantastic; form factor is perfect when I'm on the road).
BTW, I've got no idea who made my T43 panel...

FWIW, I have a loaner T60p 14" SXGA+ and the screen is much better than my T41p SXGA+. The viewing angles are similar though, and not so great.
I profiled them both with Monaco OptixPro:
T41p SXGA+:
Black 0.64 cd/m2
White 91.88 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 144:1
Avg dE: 5.11
T60p SXGA+:
Black 1.09 cd/m2
White 135.25 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 124:1
Avg dE: 4.14
The T60p is significantly brighter. Avg dE is a measure of color accuracy, lower is better.
For comparison, a couple of other screen measurements:
T42p UXGA Flexview:
Black 0.30 cd/m2
White 132.92 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 443:1
Avg dE: 3.22
Z61m WSXGA+:
Black 0.26 cd/m2
White 158.45 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 609:1
Avg dE: 4.7
R50p UXGA Flexview:
Black 0.18 cd/m2
White 84.4 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 469:1
Avg dE: 3.40
Viewsonic VP230mb UXGA:
Black 0.40 cd/m2
White 152.59 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 381:1
Avg dE: 3.09
Viewsonic VP201b UXGA:
Black 0.47 cd/m2
White 135 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 287:1
Avg dE: 2.43

I measured a Z61p today w/1920x1200 screen:
Z61p
Black 0.25 cd/m2
White 139.85 cd/m2
Contrast ratio: 559:1
Avg dE: 4.09

Thank you-- an objective measurement for comparison is helpful.

Thank you. I assume this means that the T60 has whiter whites, but the T43 has blacker blacks.
Viewing angles don't bother me--it's a machine that I work on, and that I might watch a movie on if I'm on a long flight or in a hotel someplace with nothing else to do. Thus, the only person that ever reads the screen (me) does so substantially straight on.
I'm thinking about getting an LCD monitor to put on the dock (so I don't have to cannibalize the one from my desktop that I rarely use). That would also help with the viewing angles issue (I'm typing this on my T43, docked, on using the T43's keyboard, pointer, and screen...not exactly the optimal solution).

I didn't test the T43p but I'd imagine that its no worse than the T60p. The T60p is noticeably brighter than the T41p. I think you'd be very happy the T60p 14.1" screen.
