Problems Restarting W/ Bios 2.03

#1 Post by TeeSixty » Sun Dec 03, 2006 12:53 pm

Dear All,

A month ago I tried to upgrade the BIOS of my T60 (200762U) to version 2.01, the buggy version they released and then decided to remove. It was working fine however i found that when i restart the machine it hangs completely and the battery LED disappears. I rolled back to BIOS 1.10 and everything was fine.

When BIOS 2.03 was released i thought this release would resolve the above mentioned problem however to my shock, the problem still persists.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Is there a workaround to this problem. Thanks.

There is no BIOS 2.07 that I know of, but BIOS 2.03 has given me no problems.

Upon startup of the machine, try pressing F1 to access the BIOS, then press F9 to load setup defaults and then F10 to save and restart.

Let us know if this helps.
