hello together,

baught via ebay an used 6 cell battery for my ordered t60p, because i don´t like the size of the 9 cell battery which comes with the offered package.
i got the info from the seller of the used battery, that the accu wasn´t used more than ten times.
question: is it possible to find out the age and how often it has been loaded??

Yes, the battery properties within ThinkPad Configuration will tell you all that.

Date of manufacture, number of cycles, date put into service. All the info you would need.

So, how many times was it used?

The question is not so much how many times it was used as how old is it. Modern batteries lose capacity with age even if they are not used at all.

Yes, some. But if it's a T60 battery it's not going to be very old in case. I have in the past bought "new" two-year-old batteries (with zero cycles) and the capacity loss was quite small. With any T60 battery I think it would be insignificant ...
