Unable to complete product registration

I tried to register my new T60 on the Lenovo web site, but I could not compete it because there was error with the last step of gistration process. I am kind of surprised at such a poor web site maintained by IBM/Lenovo.
Have you experienced the same? Is it necessary to register it when I bought directly from Lenovo?
